Abstract

In February 2017 in Denpasar an inflation of 0.42 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 125.33. The inflation rate of calendar year by 1.81 percent. The inflation rate year on year (YoY) at 4.22 percent.
Inflation occurs because of the increase in the price indicated by the rise in the index on the six types of expenses, foodstuff by 1.46 percent; housing; water, electricity, and gas by 0.25 percent; education, recreation and sports by 0.17 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.15 percent; transport, communications, and financial services by 0.14 percent; as well as the health group by 0,09 percent. While the clothing group decreasing index / deflation of 0.04 percent.
