Institute of Statistics (STIS) ,
originally named Academic Institute of Statistics (AIS), a college
organized by the official Central Statistics Agency (BPS) since 1958.
STIS re-summon the youth / young Indonesian who has an interest and high
motivation to become educated statisticians.
STIS hold Diploma IV
(D-IV) applied to the system package that is expressed in Semester
Credit Units (SCU) and taken over 4 years. STIS has two departments,
namely Statistics and Computational Statistics, Department of Statistics
which is divided into two areas of specialization, namely Economic
Statistics Population and Social Statistics. STIS graduates receive the
title Bachelor of Applied Science (SST).
Academic Year 2014/2015,
STIS accept new students through two pathways, namely the Association
Office and Gaza Strip Task Learning Institutions Non-BPS.
Line Association Office
Line Association Office is a selection path for graduate SMA / MA
majoring in science. Students are selected through this pathway, after
graduating in STIS education, will be appointed as candidate for Civil
Servants (CPNS) class III / A in accordance with applicable regulations,
to further placed in BPS unit in Indonesia until the district / city
level. During the study period, students are not charged tuition fees
and student gets bond allowance (pocket money) in accordance with
applicable regulations. Students have a bond during the STIS education,
and after graduation, worked at BPS mandatory during the period of
education twice in a row.
Line Agencies of Non BPS Learning Task
Line Task Learning Institutions Non BPS is a selection path for those
who have the status of civil servants (PNS), a permanent employee in
state / local enterprises, or members of the TNI / police, and have
completed high school education / MA majoring in science, which is
assigned by the agency concerned to follow education in STIS. Education
costs borne by institutions that provide task.
